Level 1 Technical Support Engineer

Position Summary:
This position will primarily work within the Northwest Ohio area to support and service technology hardware and software systems, including phone systems, servers, desktops, laptops, and security cameras. The job will be a combination of customer service, internal systems work, and hardware/software troubleshooting. The position has high potential for increased responsibilities and career growth.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical expertise to end users using easy to understand methods
  • Communicates internally and with customers effectively
  • Manages and prioritizes support requests, and sets specific expectations for support requests
  • Assist Internal Network Operations
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers and will make recommendations to prospects and clients
  • Support a Windows XP/7 environment
  • Support Windows 2003 and 2008 Servers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Troubleshoot/repair hardware/software problems as required
  • Work independently in a business environment
  • Assist in desktop, laptop, and network printer deployment
  • Manage day to day activities to meet customer's service level agreements (SLA)
  • Maintain professional image while representing RCS
  • Display a positive attitude and willingness to work with the customer
  • Keep company assigned tools in good working condition
  • Advise project/team lead of any risks, issues, or concerns related to service delivery and/or customer sites

Job Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or relevant job experience, 4yr degree and general business knowledge preferred
  • Strong communicator: must be able to build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
  • Must have a positive attitude, and willingness to do what it takes to succeed.
  • Must be able to occasionally work after-hours or weekends
  • Some regional travel is required; must be able to lift up to 60lbs
  • 1-3 years experience with PC hardware and OS support
  • Good working knowledge of overall personal computing hardware and software
  • Good working knowledge of UNIX and Macintosh operation systems and hardware
  • Experience installing and configuring new computers
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Basic toolkit to perform field service hardware repairs



Technical Sales Associate

Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for new business development and the successful candidate will primarily work within the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan area to market and sell Hardware and Software and Support Systems. The job will be a combination of inside sales, outside sales, and some marketing-related activities. The position has high potential for increased responsibilities and career growth and the successful candidate will be based out of our downtown Toledo, Ohio location. Working remotely from other locations is also acceptable.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develops a business plan in conjunction with Sales Manager, which will focus the Sales Representative on meeting or exceeding sales quota, and the sales team's joint goals.
  • Learns and demonstrates proficiency in technical selling skills and product knowledge that allows for an effective presentation of Dinerware and our associated products.
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers and sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients.
  • Develops and maintains a pipeline or database (CRM) of qualified leads through website leads, referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
  • Farms new accounts and relationships for future business referrals.
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, pricing, proposals, and other documentation
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales experience; or 3+ years of hospitality industry experience; or 4yr College Degree.
  • Strong communicator: must be able to build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
  • Must have a positive attitude, and willingness to do what it takes to succeed.
  • This position is commission only: must be able to occasionally work after-hours or weekends
  • Some regional travel is required; must be able to lift up to 40lbs
